Abstract



C3 is a set of three interactive cubes that accommodates complex computational models of behavior, considering the relationship between them and the interaction with humans. The project has mobilized a multidisciplinary team, dealing with topics such as autopoiesis, tangible interfaces, combinations of behavioral states, interactivity and technological art. Using a project-based methodology, the team worked on requirement identification, analysis of similar systems, design of hardware and software solutions, study and test of parts of the technical solution, design of the physical structure of the cubes, and assembly of an integrated structure (physical and computational), aiming at the development and refinement of prototypes. The work considered from the visual appearance of the cubes to the strength of chosen materials, through technological aspects of poetic involving agency and transformation. As results, we point to the generated product, to be shown in an international exhibition, the consolidation of concepts by integrating art, science and technology in a practical context of development, and the bond of the research team, obtained through the experience of participating in a multidisciplinary collaborative project.
