Exposition

The HOMO FABER exhibition had its first show held in São Paulo as part of the XVI Congress CAAD Futures and, from there, began his roaming in South America. After exposed in USP’s Cultural Center São Carlos, linked to the Colloquium “manufacture” promoted by IEA-USP São Carlos Polo, the exhibition will integrate SIGRADI 2015.
The exhibition held in an unprecedented way a mapping of digital fabrication directed to the field of architecture in the context of Latin America. As a sample of the latest and ever effervescent digital manufacturing scenario in the region, the exhibition presents an overview of what 25 laboratories of universities, research groups, architecture studios and independent actions come
investigating and producing in the area. Articulated under the understanding that manufacturing is to report the matter, the works exhibited signal range of interests and means, as well as openness to experimentation in processes and results.
